So much so that Thai Aroma Massage is now commonplace in Thailand. Combine these powerful traditional techniques with pre-blended aromatherapy oils and you have a superb fusion where East meets West. This course is perfect as a stand alone course for those who want a Thai flavour to compliment their training, or in conjunction with the Thai Herbal Compress Massage enabling you to design your own Thai signature treatments.

Course Entry Requirements & Pre-requisites

This is the only course in which candidates must hold a recognised qualification in Anatomy & Physiology and Massage before commencing this course.

Course Content - What you will learn

Candidates will learn to perform an authentic Thai Foot Massage as you would receive in Thailand. With practice a candidate will be able to perform the sequence in one hour. The course covers the following:

Theory

• History & Development of Massage in Thailand
• The use of herbs in Thai Massage
• Contraindications specific to Thai Aroma Massage
• Sen (energy) Line theory

Practical

• Traditional techniques of Thai Massage
• Working the Sen Lines
• Stretches and mobilisations
