A good massage relieves and soothes tired, aching muscles. Adding deep- heat herbal therapy give you extra healing benefits!

Herbal healing has deep roots in Thai culture. Herbal heat compress is the best-known traditional therapy. This dates back to ancient times when it was the secret healing technique of Buddhist monks, local herbal healers and midwives and has been passed down from generation to generation.

Sore muscles are worked and stretched and then herbal heat compresses are applied to help soothing of sore muscles. The herbal heat compress relaxes aching muscles, eases respiration through the use of aromatic camphor, and reduces tension through the heat and aromatic properties of the herbs used in the compress. Traditional Thai medicine uses herbal heat compression for the treatment of sprains, muscle pain, bruises and swelling.

Traditional Thai medicine also uses herbal heat compresses in postnatal care treatment to help reduce swelling, drain wastes from the body, help soothe sore muscles and promote general health, while recovering from pregnancy.
