Hopi Ear Candling is a safe, gentle and relaxing treatment, which induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses. It is soothing and helpful to ease excessive earwax, headaches, ear noise, stress and nervousness Inducing the patient into deep relaxation . It can be used by adults and children, and is a stress and pain free alternative to syringing.

Ear candles have been used for centuries by many cultures. They are long hollow tubes with a filter in one end and are made of natural ingredients.

Whilst lying fully clothed and comfortable on a couch, one end is gently inserted a little way into the ear, the candle is then lit and allowed to burn down to the filter. The treatment takes 10-12 minutes for each ear and is combined with a facial pressure points to induce a wonderful feeling of relaxation.

Candidates will learn to perform a full Thermal Auricular Candle treatment, using a Biosun ear candle. With practice a candidate will be able to perform the sequence in one hour.

Practical

• Section 1 - Initial Grounding

• Section 2 - Stimulation of the Face Acupressure Points

• Section 3 - Ear candle Application
