Become a Tutor
IHTU does not employ tutors.
You will work as a self-employed trainer, using IHTU
manuals and guide lines. You are wellcome to present us with
your own manauls and material for assessment on diferent
Holistic Practice that are not feature.
To apply
for a trainer possition, you need to:

Hold a
recognised qualification in Holistic Massage

Have been
in practice as a massage practitioner for a minimum of 2
year (200 hours of client contact).

Hold a
recognised teaching qualification.

Agree and
arrange
professional supervision for your teaching work when
required.

Be prepared
to upgrade your standard of teaching, and attend in-service
training if
necessary, if IHTU upgrades or amends its syllabus and in-service
training fees.

Accept
monitoring from an IHTU mentor during your first
training course (more if required)for IHTU and pay the mentor’s fees for consultation and visiting.

Hold
professional indemnity and malpractice insurance for your
teaching work.

Abide by
IHTU ’s Health & Safety procedures, and undertake any training
required.

Agree to
abide by the IHTU Code of Ethics and the GCMT (General
Council for Massage Training) Code of Conduct.

Follow
through the IHTU Tutor Assessment procedure.
