Frequent Questions Ask

Are the Professional Diplomas Awarded by IHTU?

The Holistic and Beauty Guild, have check, recognise and accredited our courses and we are Full Members of the CMA.

There is no danger of ending up with a worthless certificate.

--------------------------------------------------

Do I have to sit an exam?

Yes. You are required to sit an exam.

But don't worry, the questions will be giving in advance for you to Their is an exam required, but it is an open book exam and you will be given to complete at home. There will be a practical exam, in which is about you doing a full treatment.

--------------------------------------------------

Why should I do an exam & essay with you, when I'm able to go to another college and basically get my certification with little effort?

IHTU will not give you a diploma but you will EARN you diploma. It isn't difficult but yes, we do require that you put a bit of effort with your studies and practices. We want you to have repeat clientele, to be successful and to be proud of yourself. As more and more people are becoming therapist we want to make sure that you stand out from the rest, offering a good quality treatment in which clients will not only be happy but that they will want to return to you rather than to anyone which may be available.

--------------------------------------------------

Why are some of your courses shorter and competitively priced than those run by others?

Fast-track training in small groups of students, who really want to learn, speeds things up considerably.
Although you are required to study the theory at home, this way we can concentrate on the practice when we all get together, we will be available to answer your questions about the theory.

In some courses you are expected to undertake further study and do lots more practice, which you would otherwise do during your college time.

--------------------------------------------------

Will I get plenty of practice on the day?

Yes, remember that the theory is expected to be learn at home, this way you will have plenty of time to concentrate on the practice site of the treatment when you come to the workshop.

You will also both give and receive the therapies as you practice with your fellow students, and the emphasis is very much on the practical aspect of our teaching you how to practice the therapy safely and effectively.

--------------------------------------------------

Are Diplomas/Certificates given automatically?

No. Diplomas state that students have "successfully attained the required standard". At IHUT we do not give our diplomas just for attendance and perform a mediocre treatment. We make sure that our students have enough knowledge on the theory and that they are able to follow the movements stated on the manual with out any problems. After that, students are encourage to practice at home  with friends and family to fully memorise the new movements learned.

--------------------------------------------------

The following will be added in your lesson plan.

"Certificates will only be awarded when all Examinations  (practical, theory and home exam) have been passed at a satisfactory level. If a student is required to return to perform any part of the examination, he/she will be required to pay an additional fee of 15 pounds per examination required, but if the student is required to attend to another full day class a total fee of 75 will be required (including examinations)"

This is because we make sure all our students have enough time to study the theory and to practice at class and at home, we believe if the student do not perform at a satisfactory level at the exams it is due lack of practical work  and study at home.

Our Tutors are always trying to to their best to past students, and willing to help as much as it is possible. You will also be able to ring them or email them with any related questions that you may have.
